    Mr. Masayoshi Tonosaki of “Rest House Houkiba” (Komagome, Aomori City, TEL 017-738-6382 ) will be photographing “Photos of Tashiro Forest” in the forest behind the broombath from September 15th to 18th. Exhibition 2023 Broom News” will be held.

    Mr. Tonosaki is the third generation owner of Rest House Houkiba, and also works as a guide and ski guide in Mt. Hakkoda. The photo exhibition will feature photos taken by Mr. Tonosaki in the so-called ``Houkiba no Mori,'' which is located behind the store and surrounded by beech trees and Quercus oaks. Held once a year since 2012 (Heisei 24). This year marks the 12th time.

    Mr. Tonosaki has been familiar with the nature of Hakkoda since childhood, and his wealth of knowledge has earned him the respect of Hakkoda fans across the country. On his blog ``Hokiba News'', he shares the charms of Hakkoda through photos. Shigeyasu Ito, a Hakkoda fan who lives in Kanagawa Prefecture, suggested that he plan a photo exhibition. In November 2011, the ``Tonosaki Tadashi Exhibition - News from the Houkiba'' was held at Gallery Mutsumi in Chiba Prefecture, which is run by Ito's mother. The following year, he held his first photo exhibition at Houkiba no Mori, and since then, he and Ito have been creating works tailored to the space of Houkiba no Mori.

    This photo exhibition will feature around 30 works selected from a huge number of photographs taken between August last year and July this year. Mr. Tonosaki says with a smile, ``I hope people will come to the mountains and feel the four seasons of Hakkoda through the photos in the natural air.''

    The event is held from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. If it rains in the morning, it will be canceled.
