    It has been a month since the yakiniku restaurant "Beef Belly Yakiniku Restaurant Aji no Oukatei" (Hashimoto 1, Aomori City, TEL 017-763-5585 ) opened.

    The restaurant offers its signature dish, "Beef Belly Yakiniku," with its special sauce, as well as kalbi, tongue, and innards. It is run by O Planning, a consulting company based in Ibara City, Okayama Prefecture.

    Iwatani Junrei, the company's general affairs manager, said, "The president is a fan of Aomori food. He was so impressed by the taste of the beef belly barbecue he ate at a yakiniku restaurant in Towada that he started returning to Towada frequently. He decided to open a store in Aomori City because he wanted the people of Aomori to learn more about the delicious food in the prefecture. This will be the first restaurant operated by our company."

    The "Beef Belly Yakiniku" is served with beef rubbed with a sauce made in a way that has been passed down for 50 years at a Towada yakiniku restaurant. Two types of homemade sauce are included: "Aomori Garlic Salt Sauce," made with garlic from Aomori Prefecture and homemade salt koji, and "Aomori Apple Kimchi Sauce," made with apples from Aomori Prefecture, chili peppers, and seafood.

    The restaurant has an area of ​​approximately 79.5 square meters. There are 11 counter seats and 30 table seats. The menu includes "Beef Belly Yakiniku" (1,089 yen), "Beef Belly & Tetchan" (1,859 yen), "Top-grade Salted Tongue" (1,309 yen), "Okatei Sauce Skirt Steak" (803 yen), "Top-grade Kalbi" (1,529 yen), and Offal Mix (759 yen). The staff will grill the "Beef Belly Yakiniku" for you at the table. They also offer a la carte dishes such as "Specialty Appetizer 5-piece Platter" (1,089 yen) and "Kaccha's Egg Miso" (539 yen), as well as alcohol, soft drinks, and desserts. They also started lunch service on May 8th, offering a "Beef Belly Yakiniku Set Meal" (930 yen).

    Manager Akita Sayaka said, "It's encouraging when customers tell us directly that our food is delicious. We want to greet customers with a smile and a positive attitude, and provide food with the same consistent taste so that more people can enjoy our food," inviting customers to visit.

    Business hours are 11:30-14:30 (Tuesday-Friday) and 17:00-23:00. Closed on Mondays.
