On May 13th, a spectacular evening view of Mount Iwaki and rice fields was seen in the Tsugaru region.

Mount Iwaki is an independent peak with an elevation of 1,625 meters, and is also known as "Tsugaru Fuji." Since it can be seen from the west of the Tsugaru region, its "co-starring" with the evening scenery often attracts attention on the Internet.

It had been raining in the Tsugaru region since the morning of the same day. The rain stopped in the afternoon, and the sun was shining through the gaps in the clouds. As the sun set, the setting sun spread out, and people were gazing at the evening glow of Mt. Iwaki and pointing their cameras at it.

Currently, in the Tsugaru region, where rice planting season has begun, water is beginning to fill the rice fields. When there is no wind, the rice fields reflect the scenery like a mirror, so many local photographers and residents take photos using them as a water mirror.

In recent years, the area near the Kashiwa No Koukou Mae Station on the Kōnan Railway Kōnan Line has become known as a spot where local photographers can take pictures of the four together, with the view of Mount Iwaki and rice fields spreading out in the evening, and a train running through it. On the same day, there was no wind after sunset, and the rice fields became like a mirror, allowing the viewer to see the upside-down Tsugaru Fuji.
