Aomori's summer festival " Aomori Nebuta Festival" opened on August 2nd.

The Aomori Nebuta Festival is considered one of the three major festivals in Tohoku. Dashi floats called "Nebuta" run through the center of Aomori City, and the haneto floats liven up the surrounding area. This year, for the first time in four years, there will be no measures against infectious diseases, and 23 groups will participate in the Nebuta operation.

On the first day, the 2nd, 8 children's nebuta and carrying nebuta and 15 large nebuta set out. Haneto was able to participate freely for the first time in four years, and the audience could be seen shouting "Rassera, Rassera!"

A man in his 40s who participated as a haneto said with a smile, "The hot summer is finally starting. I want to jump again tomorrow." The Nebuta Festival has become a trending topic on Twitter, and various photos and videos of large nebuta floats and haneto floats have been posted online.
