    On July 14th, Inakadate Village declared the best time to see rice paddy art.

    Rice paddy art that uses rice paddies as a canvas and draws pictures using different colors of rice. At Inakadate Village, it is drawn using perspective and can be seen from the observatory. In addition to developing rice paddy art at two venues, stone art that makes use of rice paddy art techniques will also be exhibited.

    In the first venue, two panels are used, "Monsei no Fence" by Shiko Munakata, a board painter representing Aomori, and "Girl with a Pearl Earring" by Johannes Vermeer, a Dutch painter. The venue draws Luffy, the main character of the manga "ONE PIECE".

    A person in charge of the planning and tourism division of the village said, "This year, we're particular about color gradation. We used a combination of purple and red for the shadows. We hope you'll enjoy the gradual changes in color from early summer to autumn." ', he says.

    Opening hours are from 8:30 to 17:00 (last entry at 16:30). Admission: Adults (junior high school students and above) = 300 yen each, elementary school students = 100 yen each, preschoolers free. Until October 9th.
