“Hirosaki Sauna Festival 2023” will be held on July 15th at “Asahi Sauna Capsule Inn Hirosaki” (Dotemachi, Hirosaki City).

The event will be held under the theme of “sauna” by renting out the relaxing area, sauna, and bathroom of Asahi Sauna. Kotetsu Tanaka of the Hirosaki Sauna Club, who hosts the event, said, "This is the largest sauna event in Aomori. We invite guests who have connections to Aomori, who are active both inside and outside the prefecture, and hold three themes: performance, sound, and food. ', he says.

In "Performance", Mr. Tetsuya Nagai, a heat wave master from Hirosaki, and Mr. Morohoshi, who belongs to the same Auf Goose professional team as Mr. Nagai, and is active under the name of "Knight & Prince", called "Auf Goose (= Sauna)". A performance in which a heat wave master blows steam in the room).

In "Sound", Mr. Kengo Tokusashi, who was in charge of the accompaniment of the drama "Sado" that sparked the third sauna boom, will play the piano and classical music DJ that goes well with the sauna. Tokusashi is a musician from Aomori who has released sauna-themed songs. The music played by Tokusashi is played not only in the relaxation area but also in the sauna room. Mr. Tanaka said, "Auf Goose combined with live music is rare even in Japan."

In the "food" category, Yukihiro Sugiyama, who runs a smoked restaurant in Tokyo, has developed a sauna-themed "sa-meshi" and offers a special smoked curry. Visitors can eat one serving.

Inside the venue, there will also be a sauna-themed talk event and lottery. Mr. Tanaka says, "Participants are free to enter and leave the room, so they can enjoy themselves in Hirosaki's entertainment district, Kajimachi. I hope they enjoy Hirosaki."

The event was adopted by the Hirosaki City Citizen Participatory Community Development 1% System. Mr. Tanaka said, "Sauna is content that can attract customers from outside the prefecture. There is a good possibility that it will lead to regional resources, and I would like business operators in Aomori to participate."

The holding time is from 10:30 to 21:00. The entrance fee is 4,500 yen. Tickets go on sale June 17th at 12pm.
