A drinking and eating event "Aomori Bar Gai" will be held on March 25th with the participation of restaurants in the center of Aomori City.

This is the 16th event that started with the purpose of revitalizing restaurants and restaurants in front of Aomori Station. The event was postponed due to the corona crisis, but this year, it will be held for the first time in three years. Ryosuke Watanabe of the Regional Development Promotion Section of the Aomori Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which hosts the event, said, "At the end of last year, we started working toward the event, and chose a Saturday in March to welcome spring. I hope many customers will enjoy it." .

Participants will purchase a ticket consisting of five spellings, and in exchange for one ticket, they will be able to enjoy one drink and one "pincho" snack that is limited to the day at participating restaurants in the Shinmachi, Furukawa, and Honmachi areas. There are a total of 29 participating restaurants, ranging from izakayas and bars to sushi, grilled meat, and coffee shops. Drinks are available at each store, not only alcohol but also soft drinks. Staff called correspondents will post the menu and how crowded the day will be on social media. Tickets can also be used to pay for taxis on the same day only.

Mr. Watabe says with a smile, "There is a wide variety of shops, so I would like people to try shops that they usually don't have the opportunity to go to and enjoy drinking while walking."

Tickets are 3,500 yen in advance and 4,000 yen on the day. In addition to participating stores and commercial facilities in the city, it is also handled on the portal site “Pomit!”. Same-day tickets are sold at a special booth on the 1st floor of the Chamber of Commerce. Unused tickets can be used as cash vouchers for 700 yen each at stores supporting "Atobar" until April 2nd.

The event is held from 16:00 to 24:00.
