Ramen restaurant "Ryumen" will open on April 26th inside the "&LOVINA" building (Yanagawa 1, Aomori City) at the east exit of Aomori Station.

This shop serves ramen made mainly with ingredients from Aomori Prefecture. It opened on the first floor of "& Lavina," which opened on the same day. The store has an area of about 43 sq. m. and 24 seats. It is run by Ishiyama Hayato, a ramen expert who lives in Aomori.

This will be the second store following the ramen shop "Hakkoda Mengyo R" (in front of Hirosaki Station) which opened in 2020. Ishiyama, who feels a connection to "dragons," named the store after he believes that there are many places in Aomori that are related to the dragon god.

Ishiyama has interviewed over 2,000 ramen shops nationwide and written and supervised over 20 books. In 2016, he returned to Aomori and co-managed "Hakkoda Noodle R" with his middle school and high school classmate, Daiki Iwabuchi, the owner of the ramen dining restaurant "Rcamp."

Their signature "Ginjo Shoyu Ramen" (from 900 yen) is made with soup from "Tsugaru Chickens" that are raised on apples. They also offer "Hojun Miso Ramen" (from 980 yen) which is made with Tsugaru miso and apples and ginger, "Tanrei Shijimi Shio Ramen" (from 900 yen) which uses clams from Lake Jusan, "Jukusen Niboshi Ramen" (from 930 yen) and "Kunko Seafood Tsukemen" (from 1,000 yen). They also have a menu for children.

Ishiyama says that opening a store at Aomori Station has been a long-time dream of his, and he is enthusiastic about the opportunity, saying, "It's a place visited by many tourists, so I want a wide range of customers to be able to try Aomori ramen."

Business hours are from 11:00 to 21:00.
