The outdoor music event "BLUE GREEN CAMP FESTIVAL 2022" will be held for two days on September 3rd and 4th at Rokkasho-mura Oishi Sports Park (with Rokkasho-mura Obino) in Aomori.

The event is an integration of the music events "Rokkasho Power Live" and "Rokkasho Rock Festival" that were held in Rokkasho Village, and added activities that allow you to fully enjoy nature such as camping. It started in 2019 and was forced to be canceled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, but preparations are now underway to hold it again for the first time in two years.

Sho Hashimoto, chairman of the executive committee, said, "There weren't many places or projects that young people in the village could enjoy. They often went outside the village to have fun, but I thought it would be interesting if we could create our own locally. I've been launching the event, and I'm doing my best to make each event a new one, thinking that the Blue Green Camp Festival will bring out the color of the year. In the future, his dream is to go beyond the village and collaborate with people in each region to hold an event that will be called "this is the festival in Aomori Prefecture". "First, I want the event to take root in Rokkasho Village," he said, showing his willingness.

Appearing artists are reggae singer "Rickie-G", hip-hop band "Insisto", ZEN-LA-ROCK, G.RINA, Chinza DOPENESS ( The hip-hop unit "FNCY" consisting of Chinza Dopeness), and the rock and reggae band "Inushiki" led by Yohei Miyake. The lineup that Mr. Hashimoto invited "I want to invite" is complete. It is said that artists from Aomori are always invited, and this year reggae singer Sonia will appear, and the venue will be livened up with a dance showcase and BGM by DJs.

There are many unique restaurants such as "Mokuten Izakaya BON", "6 Kaku Coffee", Mexican restaurant "VIVA LA VIDA", and charcoal-grilled jerk chicken restaurant "Coo Gee Jerk". All of the stalls are typical and particular about what they do,” says Hashimoto.

Mr. Hashimoto said, "The theme is 'music for the heart.' I want people to come to Rokkasho Village and refresh themselves in nature while simply enjoying music with their families and friends."

Performances start at 12:00 on both days. Tickets are one day ticket (6,000 yen, with benefits), two days (10,000 yen, same), two days special (12,000 yen, with benefits and camping), camping (3,000 yen, reservation required). High school students are half price, junior high school students and younger are free. It will be sold only at the venue on the day. We will inform you on Instagram if the event will be held in case of bad weather.
