The reuse event "Hirosaki Osagari-kai" will be held in Hirosaki on November 26th and 27th and December 3rd and 4th. Hosted by Mirai Net Hirosaki.

The event distributes children's clothes and toys for free. On November 26th and 27th, we will collect clothes, school supplies, sports equipment, etc. that are no longer needed due to size-outs, etc., and distribute them on December 3rd and 4th. The venue is the former Hirosaki Kaikosha (Miyukicho, Hirosaki City).

Items that can be collected include uniforms, bags, and shoes. Expensive items such as strollers and child seats will be put out at different times to ease congestion. Mirai Net Hirosaki's Aoi Shikauchi said, "Ski equipment used in physical education is often given to people, so it's easy to lose it. If you have ski equipment that you don't use, please donate it."

Set up a stall village on the day of distribution. Restaurants in Hirosaki are planning to set up stalls to sell boxed lunches and tonjiru (pork miso soup). At the venue, we plan to hold a mini event to collect donations. “The Hirosaki Toy Hospital maintains the collected toys, and most of the people who help us are volunteers, so we need your cooperation and donations to keep the business going,” says Mr. Shikauchi.

This is the third time that the event has been held, and at the "hand-me-down party" held in December last year, 1,000 people provided unwanted items, and 2,000 people visited on the distribution day. Shikauchi says, "It's a small connection between things, but I hope it will be an event where people help each other and feel a society of mutual assistance."
