On December 1st, the Hirosaki Tourism and Convention Association will start selling the "'Hare Man/Hare Woman' Certificate" as a collaboration project of the "Hirohako Winter Tourism Campaign".

Hirosaki City and Hakodate City started the "Hirohako Winter Tourism Campaign" with the aim of attracting tourists through wide-area cooperation and mutual attraction. The virtual singer developed by Crypton Future Media (Sapporo), "Snow Miku", a Hokkaido support character derived from Hatsune Miku, will be used to introduce sightseeing spots in both cities.

The sale of the "'Sunny Man/Sunny Woman' Certificate" will be done in conjunction with the "Winter Blooming Sakura Light Up" event. The snow on the cherry blossom trees in Hirosaki Park will be lit up to resemble cherry blossoms. The A4-size document reads, "I couldn't see the cherry blossoms blooming in winter today, so I hereby prove that you are a 'sunny man and sunny woman' who are blessed with good weather." . The price is 500 yen.

The front side of the certificate features a deformed illustration of Snow Miku, while the back side features a Snow Miku design drawn by illustrator Towa Shirayuki. All Japan Hare Otoko/Hare Onna Association will cooperate with the issue.

Daigo Shirato of the Hirosaki Tourism and Convention Association said, "When the cherry blossoms bloom in winter, they become beautiful when the snow piles up, but you can't always see them. Unfortunately, I planned this for those who couldn't see it. Enjoy winter sightseeing. I want it."
