    On November 18th, the painting exhibition "Rental Picture Shop Orando RETURNS" was held at "Hirosaki Orando Gallery Space" (Momokoku-cho, Hirosaki City).

In addition to Kazuharu Mori, the organizer, three amateur artists living in Hirosaki and Mori's father taught at a junior high school in Aomori Prefecture until 1983, and were selected for the Nitten 35 times.     Mori says, ``I started this project last October as a fumbling around so that many people could see my father's work, which was kept at home. I want to see it,' so I decided to call out to an artist who was close to me and hold the event."

    Hiroyuki Akaishi, a designer who runs drawing classes, mainly exhibits pencil drawings that he drew about 20 years ago. Eri Takeuchi, who exhibited her acrylic paintings of animals and people, said, "I would be happy if people could not only look at my works but also touch them." The alcohol ink art exhibited by Ms. Ayako Saito is an art that can be created by dripping alcohol ink and mixing colors. A workshop will also be held at the venue (experience fee = 2,000 yen).

    Mori, who himself exhibited acrylic paintings, said, "Amateur artists don't have many opportunities to have their work seen. It would be great if we could nurture artists while having their work seen." He also said, "I have one work that I exhibited on the spur of the moment."

    The rental fee is 1 month = 1,000 yen, 3 months = 2,000 yen, 6 months = 4,000 yen. Rental works can be taken home on the spot. "We were able to exhibit the works of young people. I hope that young people will enjoy the custom of displaying art close to them," said Mori with a smile.

    The event is held from 12:00 to 18:00. free entrance. Until November 20th.
