Liquor store & stand bar "Degusta" (Dotemachi, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-88-7791 ) will celebrate its 10th anniversary on October 20th.

This store has a liquor store and bar stand that sells local sake, wine, craft beer, dried fruits and nuts. It opened in Gochiso Plaza in 2012 as the second branch of Sake no Yanagida (Oyakatacho). The name of the restaurant comes from the French word "degustation" which means "taste".

Atsushi Yanagida, the store manager, says, "'Sake no Yanagida' is a specialty store that offers authentic local sake and wine, but our store has a standing bar and snacks, so you can enjoy alcohol casually. I am aiming for,” he said.

When the store first opened, it only handled foreign craft beer, but now it mainly handles domestic craft beer. The sales space for craft beer has expanded due to the corona crisis, and the weekly craft draft beer (S = 750 yen, M = 900 yen, L = 1,000 yen) that you can drink at the stand bar is popular, and according to Mr. Yanagida, there are many repeaters.

Compared to 10 years ago, the product lineup has more domestic products than imported foods, but there are few foods from the prefecture. Mr. Yanagida says with a smile, "Because we can drink from noon, customers from outside the prefecture often stop by, so it might be good if we could offer local ingredients, but we only have products that we feel are good both inside and outside the prefecture." .

At the stand bar, canned goods can be warmed up, and products purchased in the store are arranged and served. The highball (from 600 yen) is made by Mr. Yanagida himself, and is said to be the "Ginza style highball without ice".

To celebrate the 10th anniversary, we will sell two original collaboration products. The commemorative sake "Hohai Assan Blage", a collaboration with Miura Brewery (Ishiwata), is a blend of limited sake released this summer, and has a label with an illustration of Mr. Yanagida's glasses. Craft beer "Namaatsu no Kurowo no Mina IPA" is a dark beer made in collaboration with Smoke Beer Factory (Toshima-ku, Tokyo). Yanagida's label is based on his favorite game. From October 20th, it will be available in barrels at the stand bar, and will be sold as bottled beer in late October.

Looking back on the past 10 years, Mr. Yanagida says, "I was able to continue with the support of my customers. I would like to continue working steadily and at my own pace."

Business hours are 11:00 to 19:00 (Fridays and Saturdays = 11:00 to 20:00, Sundays and public holidays = 11:00 to 18:00), closed on Tuesdays.
