    Recycle shop "Omoshiro Ichiba Honten" (Nakagawa, Kuroishi City, TEL 0800-777-0112 ) opened along Route 102 in Kuroishi on October 13th.

    This store opened as the main store of Omoshiro Ichiba, which sells recycled and reused items. “Omoshiro Ichiba” currently has two stores in Myanmar: “Namioka Store” (Namioka, Aomori City), “Kuroishi Store” (Fujimi, Kuroishi City), and “Takanosu Store” (Kitaakita City, Akita Prefecture).

    Eco-Friendly Japan, which was established in April this year, operates the facility. The president, Takayuki Narita, is the third-generation owner of Narita Bookstore (Oyakata-cho, Hirosaki City) and ran "VIVA! Narita Bookstore" (Dote-machi), which was open until March 2020. In 2008, he started a recycling business that buys unwanted items other than second-hand books, and launched the Omoshiro Ichiba.

    The tenant is the site of a pachinko parlor, and the site area is 1,200 tsubo including the parking lot. Create a workshop for cleaning reused items in the back of the store and utilize the employment support service. In the future, Mr. Narita is considering offering food and drinks made by reusable machines in the dining space that was used in the pachinko parlor.

    In addition to buying unwanted items, the store also sells second-hand cookware, kimonos, and home appliances. Mr. Narita says, "Our company's concept is to reduce waste. Our line-up includes reusable items that can still be used. Unlike recycle shops, we may not have gorgeous items, but we carry items that are still usable." .

    The company is also focusing on exports, sending reusable items such as daily necessities to Myanmar. Mr. Narita says, "Our strength lies in our ability to properly deliver items that can be used in Myanmar as well. Recycling reduces waste, and we have a profitable system for reusing.
