On October 1st, "Newton's Apple Parfait" began to be sold at Hirosaki's café "Taisho Roman Kissashitsu" (Kamishirogane-cho, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-37-5690 ).

The cafe is located in the Western-style building of the Fujita Memorial Garden, which is registered as a national tangible cultural property. "Newton's Apple Parfait" is a glass topped with a red mousse cake shaped like an apple, and filled with apple sherbet, jelly, and cut apples.

The café offers original apple sweets such as apple pie eating comparison sets and “apple and vanilla ice cream galette”. The store manager, Mayumi Narita, said, "I decided to make a parfait because I wanted to offer a new sweet using apples."

On top of the mousse cake with boiled apples, the branches are expressed with chocolate. Leaves are garnished with mint. Since the parfait is eaten after being transferred to a separate plate, Mr. Narita says, "I got the idea from Newton, who saw an apple falling, and named it 'Newton's Apple Parfait.'"

The apples in the glass change depending on the harvest time. Currently, I use "Tsugaru". Use "Ayaka" as soon as it runs out. Mr. Narita says with a smile, "I want people to eat apples in season because it's the city with the largest harvest of apples in Japan."

The price is 990 yen. Until the end of March.
