On October 1st and 2nd, Hiroro (in front of Hirosaki City Station) will host a workshop titled "Paper Craft Hat 'Ringo-Ninal' that can be an apple".

The same workshop to make apple-shaped paper craft hats. An event related to the exhibition "Aomori's Graphic Design Exhibition 2022", which is being held until October 10th, was planned by the art project team "HIROSAKI_AIR".

Yuka Tarusawa, a member of the same team, said, "We started with the idea of a workshop with the theme of an apple that we would wear, and ended up making a papercraft hat. This hat is what I got.”

Participants make shapes by pasting points of contact with double-sided tape without using scissors or utility knives. The time required is scheduled to be 30 minutes, and the completed hat can be taken home. There are two sizes, large and small. For children, prepare a cushion to adjust the size. “You can take it home white, so I would like you to try coloring and decorating it,” says Mr. Tarusawa. Participation fee is 2,500 yen. The opening times are 11:00, 13:00, and 15:00. The capacity is 6 people each time. Applications are accepted at the information desk on the 1st floor of Hiroro and by telephone (TEL 0172-35-0123 ).

At the venue, we will also exhibit "Ninal" designed by a designer in Aomori Prefecture and "Ninal" made of paper made from apple pruning branches.
