After graduating from high school, Kasai moved to Tokyo to attend a vocational school. Worked at a western restaurant in Tokyo and made a U-turn in 2007. “I started cooking because I wanted to be a chef, but there were so many chefs around me that I respected, so I had to learn a lot,” says Kasai.
