The "Dock Izakaya Brapo" where you can enter with a dog is currently being held at the Izakaya "Black Pot" (Higashijohoku, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-80-9145 ).

The store is inspired by glamping. From July, we started a service that allows dogs to enter the store only on Fridays. The owner, Yasumitsu Mizuki, said, "While I was eating out, I heard that my dog was an answering machine at home, so I thought it would be good to create a restaurant where I could eat out with my dog."

"Black pot" was started by Mr. Mizuki, who loves the outdoors, in September 2019. Outdoor products are lined up in the store, and mainly dishes using the Dutch oven are served. There was also a camp event held at the 1st anniversary event.

Mr. Mizuki, who loves dogs, said he put effort into hygiene management so that he could enter the store with peace of mind. I consulted with a health center and received advice that it would be possible if there were conditions such as not putting dogs and dishes used by dogs in the kitchen and wearing diapers, and I was able to realize it.

"Although there are conditions such as showing indoor dogs within 15 kg and vaccination certificates such as rabies prevention, we ask for cooperation so that customers and pet dogs can use them comfortably," says Mizuki.

Up to 3 dogs can be accompanied by a group, and the fee is 2,000 yen. Mr. Mizuki, who has worked at a French restaurant, prepares three dishes for dogs. The owner comes with two drinks such as draft beer or highball. Mizuki says, "I will prepare tableware for dogs, but if you have a plate that your dog is familiar with, please bring it with you."

Two dog lovers and three dogs used the "Dock Izakaya Brapo" on July 8th. A man in his thirties who came to the store with his dog said, "Even after returning from work, I can only walk and play at home with my dog. It's fun to go out drinking with my dog and to interact with other dogs. The dog should be happy too. "

Mr. Mizuki smiles, "I would be happy if customers could interact with each other through their dogs and a dog community could be born."
