Miura Sake Brewery (Ishiwatari, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-32-1577 ) began selling "Hohai" on July 4th to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the Hirosaki Neputa Festival.

Hirosaki Neputa is celebrating its 300th anniversary this year since it appeared in official documents. This year, Hirosaki City is planning a special Neputa service and sponsorship project for the "Hirosaki Neputa 300th Anniversary Festival". Miura Sake Brewery will sell a limited number of 2000 bottles of sake cups, which are designed by Hirosaki Neputa and have a cosmetic box that can be used as a bottle cooler.

"Kamenoo" is used for sake rice of commemorative sake. Fumihito Miura of the company's forest said, "I wanted you to feel the long time of 300 years, so I chose the oldest rice we handle." It is also called "Junmai Ginjo Sake with a faint aroma and umami." Alcohol content is 16 degrees.

On the outside of the dressing box, in addition to four Neputa paintings, the official mascot of Hirosaki City, "Takamaru-kun," is drawn for the Hirosaki Neputa 300th Anniversary Festival version. I drew red and black goldfish neputa on the inside, and studded only one with a different face playfully. "If you put ice in it, it will become a bottle cooler. I want you to taste the cold sake cup," says Miura.

Miura smiles, "I hope you enjoy drinking while feeling like Neputa at home."

The price is 720 ml = 5,500 yen. Sold at direct sales offices and Toyohashi dealers.
