On June 8th, the "Osamu Dazai Castella Sand Set" began to be sold at the Ito-Yokado Hirosaki store (Hirosaki-shi station square, TEL 0172-33-5511 ).

This product is a set of "Human Disqualified Castella Sandwich" sandwiched with milk flavored cream from Aomori's bakery company "Kudo Bread" and "Running Melos Brown Sugar Castella Sandwich" sandwiched with chocolate cream on brown sugar castella. The wrapping is based on a paperback book, and the size is 25 cm long, 17 cm wide, and 6 cm wide.

"No Longer Human Castella Sandwich" was developed in 2019 (Heisei 31) to commemorate the 110th anniversary of the birth of Osamu Dazai, a writer from Aomori. "Run Meros Brown Sugar Castella Sandwich" is the second product and is still on sale. Both are 18.5 cm long and 13 cm wide, which fits the size of a book. It supports long-term storage and has a best-by date of 45 days.

According to Kazushi Hirai of the Kudo Bread Sales Department, June 19th is the birthday of Osamu Dazai, a writer from Aomori. It is said that this year is also Father's Day. "I wanted it to be a gift for Dazai fans and literary lovers, so I put it together as a set," says Hirai.

At the Ito-Yokado Hirosaki store, a limited number of 250 pieces were sold in advance at the underground food section on this day. Mr. Hirai smiles, "I want to put it in the souvenir corner in the future."

The price is 540 yen. From June 15th, it will be sold at AEON stores in the Tohoku area, all Ito-Yokado Tohoku stores, Universe, and Co-op. The sale period is until June 19th.
