On April 11th, a collaboration product of the Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival support character "Sakura Miku" and the traditional craft of the Tsugaru region "Kogin-zashi" was announced.

Sakura Miku is a female virtual singer who collaborated with the Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival and has been appointed as an official support character for four consecutive years from 2019 (Heisei 31). Products using illustrations with local companies are announced every year, and last year we collaborated with the traditional craft "Hatofue" that has been handed down in Hirosaki for over 200 years.

"Kogin-zashi", which we collaborated with this year, is a traditional embroidery method in the Tsugaru region, and was born as part of strengthening work clothes and protecting against the cold. In recent years, attention has been focused on fashion such as miscellaneous goods and accessories, and in particular, the number of products that use the geometric pattern "Modco" as a design is increasing.

The commercialized tote bags and T-shirts each use the "Kogin-zashi" modco pattern with "39 (Miku)" on the front and the 2022 "Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival" official visual on the back. There are 3 types of tote bags and 4 types of T-shirts with a combination of colors and illustrations.

Mr. Iemasa Yamabata, who was in charge of the design, is a graphic designer who presides over "kogin.net". Create kogin-zashi-patterned guest rooms at Hoshino Resorts and sell kogin-designed products. Mr. Yamabata said, "Miku's" 3 "and" 9 "are represented by the original cherry blossom kogin pattern, and the traditional pattern" Hanako "is surrounded by a flowing pattern. The cherry blossoms in full bloom at Hiromae Castle. I expressed it with a kogin-zashi pattern. "

The price is 4,000 yen for tote bags and 5,500 yen for T-shirts. It will be sold at 7 stores in Hirosaki City from April 20th, and will be sold on order at "Chara-Ani.com" from May 9th to May 30th.
