"Asahi Sauna Capsule Inn Hirosaki" (Dotemachi, Hirosaki City) reopened on April 1st for the first time in about two years.

Although it is located in the center of the city near Hirosaki Park, it is popular for its natural hot springs, saunas, and capsule hotels from 500 meters underground. It is a male-only facility, and many customers spend it until morning because it is close to the downtown area. Due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, it was closed from June 2020.

Upon reopening, the sauna room, bathhouse, and relaxing area were renewed. The renewal is the first since 1993 (Heisei 5) when it was open in its current form. The sauna room was made entirely of hiba, and a 50-inch TV was installed in the room. The drywall will be changed to Finnish style, and the staff will perform leil once every 30 minutes to 1 hour (6:00 to 23:00).

The tiles in the bathhouse have been completely replaced, and the relaxing area has also been renewed. The number of seats will be changed from 32 to 24, and corona measures will be taken such as installing acrylic plates between the seats. Before the renewal, any guest could enter the relaxing area, but to use it, it is necessary to wear in-house clothes.

The fee is a quick course (3 hours = 550 yen) and a relaxing course (with clothes and towels in the hall, 12 hours = 2,400 yen). Rental towel sets (270 yen) and rental clothes (330 yen) are available. Capsule hotels are A type (standard = 3,500 yen) and B type (private room = 3,800 yen). A premium type room (5,000 yen) with a TV will be available from the end of April.

Mr. Kazuya Tsunoda, the manager of the sales department, said, "I received various voices such as" I want you to resume early "and" How long will you be closed? " I am happy to be able to do this. I would like you to take advantage of the new Asahi Sauna. "

    open 24 hours.
