"Oland Plus", which started in February in Hirosaki, is currently working on a project to open a guesthouse in "HIROSAKI ORANDO" (Hyakkokumachi, Hirosaki City).

Holland Plus is a coordinating company launched by Saki Ishiyama, who worked at the general incorporated association "Next Commons Lab (NCL) Hirosaki". NCL Hirosaki is working in collaboration with Hirosaki City for the purpose of starting a business utilizing local resources and fostering local ventures.

Hirosaki Orlando is the activity base of NCL Hirosaki, which opened in April 2019 after renovating the site of the ceremony hall in Hyakkokumachi. A cafe and gallery space were set up on the 1st floor, and a guest house was planned to open as a simple accommodation space on the 2nd floor, but it has been put on hold due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection.

Mr. Ishiyama is from Aomori and after graduating from Hirosaki University, he is active in Gabon, Africa as a member of the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers. After returning to Japan, he worked in the Kanto area and made a U-turn in 2018 (Heisei 30). I have been the coordinator of NCL Hirosaki. Mr. Ishiyama said, "When I left Hirosaki and looked at it from the outside, I realized that there wasn't a place to connect with the locals. I hope the guesthouse will increase the number of people involved and interact with each other."

The guest house, which will be renovated on the second floor of about 60 tsubo, will have a dormitory space for both men and women using an apple wooden box, two private rooms, and a dormitory space exclusively for women.

As return items for support, accommodation vouchers for one night in a dormitory (5,000 yen), accommodation vouchers for one week (6 nights) in a private room (100,000 yen), Hirosaki entrepreneur support course (50,000 yen), groups We have prepared a course for a large number of people (200,000 yen) assuming a training trip. The target amount of procurement is 4 million yen, and the achievement rate is over 60% within one week from the recruitment. Mr. Ishiyama said, "The population of Hirosaki City has decreased by 7,000 in the three years since I returned, and I feel a sense of crisis, but there are many things that can only be found in Hirosaki, and young people are taking action. There are also people. I want to create a guesthouse where new challenges are possible and various exchanges are born. "
