The second-hand clothing store "Garage Paradise" in Dotemachi, Hirosaki City was relocated and opened on December 16th on the first floor of the former Stozen Building in Yokomachi, Kuroishi City.

The second-hand clothing store that was open opposite the Hirosaki Park Hotel from 2005 (Heisei 17) to January 2020 (Reiwa 2). The reopening destination was changed from Hirosaki to Kuroishi, and mainly used outdoor clothing was handled. It will be the first store opening in about two years.

The owner, Daijiro Yamaguchi, said about the reason for the move, "There were several candidate locations, but I finally chose a place with good conditions, such as a parking lot, regardless of Hirosaki." The old Stozen Building was a building in the 40's of the Showa era, and the first floor contained a store selling household goods.

The store area is about 14 tsubo. The signboard used in the previous store was re-installed, and a rack was made using waste materials and plywood. The products we handle include down, fleece, and outerwear. In addition to arranging items by brand specializing in outdoor fashion, Mr. Yamaguchi's hobbies such as miscellaneous goods and figures will be exhibited in the store.

It's been a week since it opened, and the warmth of the people of Kuroishi was touched by the people in the surrounding stores who helped shovel the snow. Mr. Yamaguchi said that he was glad that he could open in Kuroishi, saying, "I want to make the store useful for the liveliness of Kuroishi."

"I used to sell second-hand clothes online for two years, but it's still fun to serve customers, and I'm happy to have a new store. Even with the same amount of money, face-to-face sales are completely different than online sales."

Business hours are from 14:30 to 18:30. Closed on Wednesdays.
