The cafe & salon "hammock" (Waseda, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-26-9126 ) celebrated its 15th anniversary on November 11th.

The store has a cafe and a hair salon that requires reservations. The owner, Yasutomo Ichido, opened a store in Suehiro in 2006 (Heisei 18). Moved to the current location in 2017 (Heisei 29). The origin of the store name is that the hammock liked the arrangement of Roman letters and the loose image.

After graduating from high school, Mr. Ichinohe got a job at a construction materials wholesaler. He sold building materials in the business, but he didn't know how the materials were used and how happy the customers were, so he began to take an interest in face-to-face work. Mr. Ichinohe recalls, "I changed jobs to a pool bar and experienced the hospitality business and cooking. I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted to do, but gradually my desire to become independent became stronger and I decided to start a cafe."

Looking back on 15 years, Mr. Ichinohe said, "We created a store by grasping the needs of our customers and comparing them with what we can do. Even with the same sales, our customers are more satisfied and we are happy to see what we can do. I tried to get it. " "I had never been aware of the milestones, but I wanted to express my gratitude to customers, vendors, friends and family."

The food menu changes weekly, and depending on the season, seasonal ingredients are included. Among them, omelet rice (1,100 yen), napolitan (1,000 yen), and hot sandwiches (900 yen, all with drinks) have been gradually changed in taste and have been offered for 15 years. The drink menu includes domestic blended black tea (400 yen), hot coffee (400 yen), and cafe au lait (500 yen). Prepare special drinks on a monthly basis.

Mr. Ichinohe says that he has more time to think about the corona, and he is aiming to create a store that even a single customer can stay for a long time. "I hear that in the old days, the habit of stopping by in the morning to read newspapers while drinking coffee and spending time in between at a coffee shop was more rooted than it is now. I want to propose how to use it. "

Business hours from 12:00 to 20:00. Closed on Mondays.
