On November 11th, "Be Easy Brewing" (Matsugae, Hirosaki City) and "Miura Sake Brewery" (Ishiwatari) began selling the craft beer "Aomori Ale-Koji ver".

The representative brands of both companies are "Gareth Beer" and "Hohai", respectively. Produced by "Kato Liquor Store" (Nishishigemori), Miura Sake Brewery's white jiuqu was added to the beer.

"Be Easy Brewing" is a brewery launched by former US Air Force soldier Gareth Burns, who lives in Aomori and is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year. In the wake of Corona's illness, he started retailing and started selling in cans in August this year. In July, he opened a brewery and directly managed store "Aomori Brew Pub" (Yasukata, Aomori City).

Miura Sake Brewery is a sake brewery with a history of nearly 100 years, and now the fifth president, Takeshi Miura, and his younger brother, Fumihito Mori, make sake. In November of last year, the direct sales office attached to the warehouse was renewed, and the company is focusing on direct sales of its own products such as "Toyo-san".

"Kato Sake Brewery" is a liquor store located at the entrance of Zenringai for more than 50 years, and was relocated and renewed in December last year. Takahiro Kato, the president, says, "We planned to make collaborative beer as each anniversary project, such as one year after the renewal."

Gareth, who has been interested in white jiuqu for a long time, says, "I would like to take this opportunity to actively incorporate it as a flavor of craft beer." According to Fumihito, this year's preparations have begun, so he was careful not to mix them in the production of white koji koji.

Gareth said, "I just added the white koji produced by Miura Sake Brewery to the Aomori limited craft beer" Aomori Ale ", but now I can enjoy the sour white koji flavor. Please compare it with Aomori Ale. ".

The selling price is 600 yen (350 ml). In addition to Kato liquor stores and Gareth stores, it also sells online on the official website.
