Aomori / Fujisaki soup curry specialty store "Spicy & Creamy Fujisaki Shokusai Terrace Store" (TEL 070-4815-5853 ) celebrated its 1st anniversary on August 8th.

Based on the recipe learned at the soup curry shop in Sapporo, the shop offers soup curry using mainly ingredients from Aomori prefecture. Operated by design company "0172" (Hirakawa City, Aomori Prefecture), which handles food and beverage branding.

Mr. Atsumori Shimoyama, who took office as a store manager from September last year, said, "I was assigned to the company immediately after joining the company. I had no experience in the restaurant business in the past, and my previous job was a hairdresser and apparel business. I felt that I had to do it anyway." talk. Mr. Shimoyama is in charge of staff work management and coordination of new projects.

“Looking back, it was a year of struggling to attract customers due to the corona sickness,” says Shimoyama. At the beginning of the opening, there were many visitors, but soon the number of customers dropped. In a year, it opened a new gallery space and started selling cakes and frozen fish, and now it has liberalized the introduction of spices.

Mr. Shimoyama says, "It is helpful that the president said,'I want you to do something exciting.' My ideas and projects have not been adopted so much, but I want to do my best."

There are only two types of soup curry, spicy (980 yen) and creamy (1,080 yen). There are 20 levels of spiciness, and customers can choose between white rice and brown rice. Toppings include chicken legs (380 yen) and hamburgers (400 yen). Drinks include iced coffee, chai (360 yen or more), and homemade ginger ale (420 yen). It also supports takeout.

Mr. Shimoyama says, "I mostly use vegetables purchased from the adjacent direct sales office. It depends on the season, and I can offer soup curry unique to Aomori."

On the day of the 1st anniversary, we provided customers with a "commemorative cake". After the store closed, I looked back on the year, aiming for the efforts of the staff. “I wasn't confident about working in Aomori, but working here made me realize the charm of Aomori,” says Shimoyama. "I want to grow with the store so that Aomori can be called our store," he enthuses.

Business hours are from 11:00 to 15:00.
