On June 16th, the "Pan de Campanew Niji no Mart Store" opened at the food market "Niji no Mart" (Ekimae-cho, Hirosaki City) near Hirosaki Station.

The store sells bread made from domestic wheat without using yeast food or sugar. Niji no Mart, which opened a store, is a market with a history of 60 years, and it is the first time that a bread specialty store has opened.

"Pan de Campanue" opened in 2006 (Heisei 18). Initially it had a store in Aoyama 2-chome, but moved to the countryside in 2019. Although there were branch offices such as opening the Shinagawa store, which specializes in bamboo charcoal bread, it is currently open mainly for consignment sales. There are about 50 consignment stores in the Tsugaru area.

According to the president, Junko Murakami, when she negotiated with "Iki Ichiba," which operates Niji no Mart as a new consignment sales place, she was offered to open a store. “If we were to open a store, we wanted to serve freshly made bread, so we installed an oven to create an environment where we could make bread inside the store,” says Murakami.

It was pre-opened in May and was investigating the customer base and tastes of Niji no Mart. Mr. Murakami says, "Unlike the main store, the trends and sales methods of popular products are different. Since they are in the market, we have to speak out and actively appeal to customers."

There are about 70 kinds of bread such as bamboo charcoal bread and sweet bread, and the average bread is about 160 yen. Bake bread multiple times a day. "I would like to make original bread only for Niji no Mart in the future, corresponding to the" Rainbow Stamp "that will be presented for 200 yen."

Business hours are from 8:00 to 18:00. Closed on Sundays.
