Iwakiyama Shrine (Hirosaki City Hyakuzawa Terasawa, TEL 0172-83-2135 ) is now calling on SNS about new methods of worshiping Iwakiyama.

Iwakiyama Shrine is a shrine that was built over 1200 years ago and has an Oku Shrine on the summit of Mt. Iwaki called Tsugaru Fuji. Locally known as "Iwaki-sama" and "Oyama-sama", it is so familiar that many people visit it many times a year. It is also known as a tourist destination, and many tourists from outside the prefecture also visit it.

On August 1, the lunar calendar, "Osan-san", which has been designated as an important intangible folk cultural property, was held for three days, praying for "hojo", "safety in the house", and from the Tsugaru area to Okumiya. Group worship. It was scheduled for September 15th to 17th this year, but according to Iwakiyama Shrine, in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, refrain from visiting as usual, and refrain from visiting in groups organized in line. Calling out.

Noriko Sudo of Iwakiyama Shrine Negishi said, “Oyama pilgrimage is the most important three days for Iwakiyama Okami. You cannot worship as usual, but the rituals are done only by the people involved. It's an important event to deliver to the mountains, but I don't have the opportunity to meet you this year, so I have no intention of delivering it."

Mr. Sudo, who says that there are various worshiping methods, thought about collecting the worshipers' thoughts by posting on SNS. “I had an idea, but it was difficult to make it into a shape, so I called out to Mr. Yoshifumi Kamada, who works as a cooperation team to revitalize the local area,” says Mr. Sudo.

When asked, Mr. Kamata asked Shintaro Tsushima, who was working remotely in the Hirosaki/Iwaki district while working at an IT company in Tokyo, to cooperate. Tsushima-san is from a local area and has been working as a photographer working at Hirosaki tourism facilities and taking pictures of the scenery of Aomori.

With the cooperation of Tsushima-san, the first official site of the shrine was opened on July 22nd. You can now send out a call for "Osansyo" on the site. “It was nice to ask someone who has a passion for Mt. Iwaki,” says Sudo.

This initiative, titled "Hashtag Hyakunin Hyakushoku Sansansho", is free to post thanks and prayers to Mt. Iwaki, regardless of the style of the text, photo, or video from Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter. What to call. Recruitment is until September 25.

In addition, for children who cannot post on SNS, we are planning a painting exhibition entitled "Mountain of Orada". It is said that illustrations of Mt. Iwaki will be mailed and displayed in the precincts. On the day of the event, a live delivery of the light coming from the summit will be performed.

Mr. Sudo says, "It's a fun event that everyone gathers together, but unfortunately we can't hold it this year. We will always pray to the mountains for the thoughts we have gathered using SNS."
