It's like a real painting! Giant art emerging in rice fields
"Rice field art" is to make rice fields look like one campus, and to paint huge rice with different colors of rice instead of paint.
It started in 1993 in Inakan Village, Aomori Prefecture, as part of the revitalization of the village. The technology of rice field art has improved year by year, and now we are making good use of 7 colors of rice to create delicate and precise art. It is popular with tourists both inside and outside Japan.
Appreciation of the rice field art is recommended from the observation deck. The magnificent art made with Inaho is a masterpiece. You can see the whole picture of the art from the observatory in both Hall 1 and Hall 2.
