Boxing gym "PEACH BOXING CLUB" (Hanazono 2, Aomori City, TEL 070-9122-0737 ) opened near Aipura Park on March 9th.

``With the concept of ``gentle boxing,'' anyone of any age can experience ``safe and secure'' boxing,'' says Takeo Kudo, the gym's representative. Rather than being a training gym for athletes, it offers programs for people who want to improve their health while enjoying boxing.

The two-story property has been renovated, with a training room on the second floor measuring approximately 30 tsubo, men's and women's changing rooms and toilets on the first floor, and each changing room has a shower room.

Representative Kudo said, ``Rather than being an athlete, I want to enjoy boxing, which I love, in a casual manner to relieve my daily training and lack of exercise.'' Currently, he is working with two trainers to instruct the members.

Representative Kudo started boxing in high school and moved to Tokyo after graduating. He was encouraged to become a trainer at a boxing gym he joined as a regular member, and worked there for four years. At the gym he went to after making a U-turn to Aomori, he discovered his talent for teaching others, and said, ``I wanted to have a permanent gym where I could teach.'' ``I'm not the type to talk to people willingly, but I can do it naturally through boxing.I want to spread the joy of boxing to as many people as possible,'' he says enthusiastically.

Representative Kudo has been holding boxing classes at public facilities in Aomori City since September 2022, gaining experience and achievements in preparation for opening the gym.

The joining fee is 8,800 yen. Monthly membership fees are 8,800 yen for regular members, 7,700 yen for women, 6,600 yen for regular members over 60 years old, 6,600 yen for elementary school to junior high school students, and 5,500 yen for weekly members (any age). We also have coupons (5 sessions = 9,900 yen) and a ``first experience'' (1,100 yen) for those with no experience in boxing or martial arts.

The gym offers two ways to go. ``My Time Style,'' which allows you to train at any time you like during business hours, and ``Class Style,'' which allows several members to train together on fixed days and times. Styles can also be changed mid-way.

Representative Kudo said, ``I would be happy if we could become a gym where people can enjoy boxing so much that it becomes their purpose in life.``PEACH'' also means ``a wonderful person'' or ``a wonderful person.''Through boxing, I hope to meet wonderful people. I hope it becomes a place for people to gather."

Business hours are weekdays = 10:00 to 22:00, Saturdays = 12:00 to 19:00, Sundays and holidays = 12:00 to 17:00. Closed on Tuesdays.
