Aomori Chuo Bunka College's fashion show "Bunka Fashion Live 2024 mirage" will be held on February 23rd at the AV multi-function hall on the 5th floor of Auga (Shinmachi 1, Aomori City).

This fashion show is planned and hosted by students. For second-year students, it is a culmination of what they have learned during their school life, and it also serves as a venue for them to present their graduation work, which is packed with ``what they want to express.'' On the day of the event, eight second-year students will perform two 40-minute shows showcasing 56 pieces created based on the concepts they came up with.

This year's theme is "mirage". ``The eight second-year students have a wide variety of personalities and genres, and I liken them to a mirage,'' said second-year student and executive committee chairperson Riki Yoshida. ``We created everything that everyone wanted to do,'' including dresses and crowns inspired by ``the aristocrats of medieval Europe,'' clothes that expressed ``unnaturalness'' and ``distortions,'' and newly ``reconstructed'' clothes made from unused denim. "There is."

At the fashion show, first-year students are in the position of helping second-year students create their works, and they sometimes have to help with things they are not good at, which can be a struggle. Looking back, Yoshida says, ``Last year, I had seniors who guided me, so I didn't have to worry about it and worked hard.'' ``Although there are more pieces this year than last year, all the students are helping and complementing each other and are able to work together with a sense of unity. We have been able to produce without sacrificing quality by increasing the number of accessories used in the production and adding tricks to the clothes.'' ” he says.

Mr. Yoshida said, ``As a second year student, I have set a goal of ``I want to surpass my seniors.'' I am proud that the work has been upgraded from last year.We created a stage that will make the audience think ``It was interesting.'' I hope you look forward to it," he said enthusiastically.

The first part starts at 13:00, and the second part starts at 15:00. free entrance.
