Hirosaki rock band WATERFALL's live music show ``The Devil's Blame Is Good Tour Final One Man'' will be held on February 24th at the live house ``Hirosaki KEEP THE BEAT'' (Dotemachi, Hirosaki City).

The band is centered around Tetsuya Tsushima who lives in Hirosaki. Formed in 2004 (Heisei 16), the group currently consists of four members: Kazuya Hagaka, Masato Funamizu, and Takuya Izawa. All members are in their 40s and continue to play in bands while working as adults.

The tour was an album tour for the band's first album, ``It's Good for the Devil,'' which was released in April 2023, and visited 23 locations mainly in the Tohoku area. Looking back, Tsushima says, ``I was able to tour while working because I had the support of my family.''

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the band's activities. They have released four independent albums in the past, but this is their first album in 19 years. Tsushima said, ``While we were unable to perform live due to the coronavirus pandemic, we continued to practice seriously. Due to the coronavirus, the members' mindset changed to a positive one.The album was originally planned to have only a few songs, but it has been expanded to 12 songs. "It's like an album," he says confidently.

The album jacket illustration was designed by Tsushima himself. The theme was ``Is it a man or a woman? Is it staring or trying to stand up?'' According to Tsushima, the album title conveys the meaning that only you can change something that cannot be blamed on yourself.

Regarding the tour final, Tsushima said, ``We had been doing activities that were considered to be a band that represented Aomori, but as we continued to perform on tour, we started to feel a response.Although we are an indie band from a local area, "I want to show a performance that surpasses that of the professionals," he said enthusiastically.

Doors open at 16:30, performance starts at 17:00. Ticket prices are 2,000 yen in advance and 2,500 yen on the day (plus a 600 yen drink charge). Special price for high school students = 1,000 yen. Free for junior high school students and under.
