``Mofunoko, a business trip dog beauty salon'' (Tonosaki, Hirosaki City) will begin operations on February 3rd.
This store allows you to visit with a grooming car and trim your dog inside the car. Mayu Kiyono, a groomer who lives in Hirosaki, opened this business to help owners who find it difficult to go to groom their dogs feel more familiar with grooming their dogs.
Mr. Seino is from Hirosaki, and after graduating from a vocational school in the prefecture, he worked at a pet salon in the Kanto region for about two years before making a U-turn. Since 2019, I have been recruiting model dogs for grooming at home and practicing, as well as gaining experience at the grooming salon "Grooming Salon Rit'z★" (Aomori City), and have created "Mofunoko". It opened.
Seino says, ``If we can provide a service that is independent of location, we can reduce the burden on owners and dogs.We came up with the idea of a grooming car, which is not yet popular in Aomori.''
There are three types of service: a home visit type where the pet dog is driven to the dog's home in a grooming car, a walk-in type where the dog owner comes to the groomer, and an on-site type where the pet dog is picked up at home and the treatment is performed at a nearby parking lot. We also accept consultations on visits and business trips outside of Hirosaki City.
The menu includes a shampoo course and a haircut course, and prices vary depending on the breed (Chihuahua = 4,000 yen ~, Papion = 5,500 yen, etc.). In addition to the course menu, there are also optional menus such as foam packs and partial cuts. Dogs who complete the treatment will be presented with a handmade "Mofunoko Ribbon."
Seino says, ``Although grooming cars have some inconveniences for shops, I hope they can be an option for customers who are in trouble because the salon is far away or they have a pet dog who doesn't like to move around.''
