AOMORI, the second product in the craft beer series themed around the 40 municipalities of Aomori Prefecture, went on sale on January 29th.

This product is a collaboration between Gareth Burns, a craft beer brewer who lives in Aomori, and Chihiro Ishizuka, who lives in Aomori and is known as the author of the manga "Flying Witch" set in Aomori. The first edition, released in November last year, featured a black stone motif on the label. Shipping has already ended.

Mr. Ishizuka's illustrations are based on a story called "MASIC SPELL." The story is set in Aomori, where master Hana, disciple Ann, and owl Coco go on a training journey, and Ishizuka himself was in charge of selecting the setting. It is said that they have chosen a location somewhere within Aomori Prefecture that matches the story.

``AOMORI'' depicts a scene where Hana and Anne meet at a park in Aomori City. The location of the park where it will appear is not disclosed. Chika Odagiri, the person in charge of the brewery Be Easy Brewing, says, ``We ask for locations that are not tourist areas as much as possible.We encourage you to look for them.''

In this series, not only the illustrations but also the taste of the beer changes each time. AOMORI is a dark beer with cinnamon and nutmeg spices, and was inspired by Mexican hot chocolate, Burns said.

The price is 750 yen (350ml, limited to 2200 bottles). It will be sold at the official sales site "Be Easy Brewing" and at Cub Center and Mega in Aomori Prefecture.
