On December 18th, PR signs for the manzai contest "M-1 Grand Prix" were installed at 12 locations in Aomori Prefecture.

The signboard paraphrases past M-1 finalists' ``defining lines'' into Tsugaru dialect or Nanbu dialect. The lineup includes comedy duo Sandwich Man's ``I don't know what you're talking about'' in Tsugaru dialect, and ``Pekopa'''s ``Toki wo''. There are 12 types of items, including ``Let's go back'' in the southern dialect, which means ``Tokiba kabutebe.''

On December 19th, the official SNS of the M-1 Grand Prix posted information about the signboard with the hashtag ``Aomori Prefecture, which for some reason is the most viewed M1 in Japan.'' According to a PR person at the M-1 Grand Prix Secretariat, Aomori Prefecture was ranked first in the viewership ratings for the program by region, so the agency installed this notice board ``out of gratitude.'' It is said that he planned.

The signboards installed at 12 locations were chosen so that when connected by lines on a map, they would form the letters "M-1." The person in charge said, ``When we asked the people at the installation site, they were surprised and asked, ``Aomori has the highest M-1 viewership rating,'' and they readily agreed.'' ``We asked Aomori Asahi Broadcasting to supervise the dialect.''

The locations are spread across Aomori Prefecture, including the Tsugaru Dam located at the entrance to the Shirakami Mountain Range and the Hakkoda International Ski Resort, so on social media they posted a message saying, ``It is difficult to see all 12 locations due to snow and frozen roads.'' "See you there," as well as "I want to go around it" and "I want to see it."

The person in charge said, ``We hope you'll laugh out loud on Christmas Eve with the comedian's best stories.''

Installation will be available until December 24th.
