Youbisha, a cafe with a cooking class (Nutyu Kamikawara, Kuroishi City, TEL 0172-55-8361 ), opened in the Kuroishi/Nuruyu area on November 1st.

This restaurant takes advantage of its health-conscious meals and sweets and its location overlooking Shallow Ishikawa. The owner, Mayumi Yamatani, renovated her husband's parents' home.

Ms. Yamatani studied cooking after her husband's illness and began attending cooking classes outside the prefecture. After obtaining qualifications such as Medical Chef and Rice Flour Meister Instructor, he started holding private cooking classes on his own in response to requests from those around him. Initially, it was held at my home, but in 2020 I moved to my parents' home in Onyu and continued.

Looking back, Yamatani says, ``I was not good at teaching cooking classes, but as I continued, I started to enjoy them. Gradually, I realized that I wanted more people to try my cooking, so I decided to open a cafe.'' .

The store area is 11.6 tsubo. The number of seats is table = 7 seats, small rise = 6 seats. The seating area is the living room that was used by Mr. Yamatani's mother-in-law. Fixed glass will be used in the windows so that shallow waters of Ishikawa can be seen. A mirrored ceiling was incorporated into the eaves of the roof so that the scenery could be seen from inside. Stained glass, furniture, and lighting are utilized as much as possible and used as accents within the store.

The menu will center around ``Today's Yobisha Lunch'' (1,350 yen), which changes every two to three weeks, as well as drinks and sweets made with seasonal ingredients.

Mr. Yamatani, who has started going to Onsen and is impressed by the comfort and location, says with a smile, ``I want to create a place where you can relax and enjoy a healthy meal in the attractive Kuroishi and Onsen areas.'' Show.

Business hours are 10:00 to 15:00 (lunch time is 11:00 to 14:00). Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, and the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month. Closed from January to March.
