    Satocho, a supermarket operating in Aomori Prefecture centered on the Tsugaru area, will close all stores on October 20th.

    ``Satocho'' was founded in 1897 (Meiji 30) as a pickle shop in Matsumori-cho, Hirosaki City. At that time, the store name was ``Sato Shoten,'' and in 1978, the name was changed to ``Super Sato Cho.'' Opened the first supermarket in Kobinai.

    In June, Cho Sato (4, Kikyono, Hirosaki City), who operates Satocho, filed a petition to start civil rehabilitation proceedings together with his affiliated company, Aomori Shokuken (Kuroishi City), a food processing wholesaler. was being watched closely.

    The company chosen to transfer the business was ``Trial Company'' (Fukuoka City), which operates discount supermarkets. Court approval was granted on October 16th, and the company will inherit 18 of the 24 stores operated by Naga Sato. The reopening date has not yet been determined, but they will open gradually from October 28th onwards.

    "Matsumorimachi store", "Kotobukicho store", "Kiku store", "Chuo store", "Mutsu Matsukiya store", "Kohinai store" which will not be inherited by the trial, and "Owani store" and "Hiraga Ekimae store" which closed in September The recipient has not yet been determined, and Cho Sato and Aomori Food Research Institute are reportedly coordinating the transfer.
