Beauty salon with cafe near Hirosaki Park relocates with increased staff and services
DRAW & CO. (Kikko-cho, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-80-9098 ), a beauty salon with a cafe, moved to a location near Hirosaki Park on September 22nd.
The store opened in Kitagawaragamachi in September 2018, and its president, Koji Shimoyama, is a hairdresser, and his wife, Haruka, is in charge of the cafe. Regarding the reason for the move, Koji said, ``As the number of staff and services increased, it became too small.We had been looking for a new location for two or three years.''
The new location was a vacant lot near Hirosaki Park, and a new two-story store was built. On the first floor there is a cafe "DRAW CAFE" and a private barber room, and on the second floor there will be a beauty salon. The store area is 45 tsubo. The interior of the store is based on white, and the exterior is gray. We paid special attention to the glass-like tiles installed on the counter so that it would stand out even when viewed from the outside.
Haruka says, ``I'm blessed with the staff.'' Stylist Airi Ono, who joined the company in March 2022, worked as a stylist in Tokyo for four years before making a U-turn. In November, she won first place nationwide in an online model creation contest for people up to 25 years old held by Milbon (Chuo-ku, Tokyo).
Anna Makita, a shaving esthetician and eyebrow designer, holds national qualifications in barbering and cosmetology and worked as a hairdresser and beautician for 15 years, but she left to give birth and raise children. She joined Draw & Co as an esthetician in April of this year, and with this move, she is now able to offer a total salon with private rooms. In addition, the company has hired new graduates this year.
Koji says, ``It's a great location near Hirosaki Park.The view from the second floor is beautiful, and I'm already looking forward to seeing the cherry blossoms.We plan events that utilize the parking lot during the Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival, etc., making the store a fixture in the community. I want to do it," he said enthusiastically.
Business hours are 10:00 to 20:00. Closed on Mondays.
