Snow Art was completed on February 6 at the second rice field art venue in Inakadate Village (Takahiga, Inadate Village) in Aomori / Inakadate Village.

The art is made by British snow artist Simon Beck walking on the snow. Mr. Simon has completed more than 200 works all over the world, and has been talked about abroad as "mystery circle on snow" and "winter art". According to Simon, this is the first time that a work has been made in Japan.

Simon arrived at the venue at 9 am on the 6th and continued walking until around 18:00 without lunch. On the next 7th day, I made adjustments to add shadows and made snow art in the rice field next to the venue. The completed work has a geometric pattern like a snowflake in the center and wavy lines on both sides. Simon is confident that he will be in the top spot so far.

In the summer, the venue for making rice field art has a 14-meter-high observatory and a light-up facility. The person in charge of the village calls for the visit, "Simon's snow art is often made in the mountains, so the light up is the first in the world. We hope you enjoy the fantastic snow art."

The viewing time is from 10:00 to 16:00. Light up is 6th and 7th and 11th to 13th = 16:00 to 19:00. Entrance fee is 200 yen. Until the 14th of this month.
