On September 29th, Susono Junior High School students had a work experience at Dormy Inn Hirosaki (Honmachi, Hirosaki City).

Dormy Inn, operated by Kyoritsu Maintenance, accepts students and offers a work experience program where they can experience general hotel work, such as cleaning guest rooms and checking in. This is the second time since last year that Dormy Inn Hirosaki has hosted two second-year students from Hirosaki City Susono Junior High School.

The two participants toured the hotel with the manager and others, not only in the guest rooms but also in the back yard, which they cannot usually see, and then role-played a check-in process and practiced how to smile and use polite language. I also went there.

On this day, students at Susono Junior High School had work experience at Dormy Inn Hirosaki, as well as at a radio station and library. The two who chose to do work experience at a hotel cited bed-making as a difficult task, and were surprised at the cleaning staff's techniques that made it so easy.

Yuto Sudo, a participant, said, ``I was nervous at first, but little by little I got used to it.'' Rintaro Sato said with a smile, ``I found it difficult to use honorific language, so I had a hard time saying ``Please take your time and relax.''
