“DANCE JUNCTION in HIROSAKI” will be held on January 26th at the Civic Cultural Exchange Hall on the 4th floor of Hirosaki's shopping mall “Hiroro” (Ekimaemachi, Hirosaki City).

This event is aimed at improving sports skills and raising awareness. Participating "XXIV CLAN" is a dance unit formed last year. EXILE performer Yamamoto Sekai, world break dancer TAISUKE, and the dance team that won the biggest dance contest in Japan. It consists of 5 members, Toyotaka and “YASS” from “Beat Buddy Boi” and KATSUYA from “The Floorriorz” who won the world competition.

"This is the first time that XXIV CLAN will perform in the Tohoku area," said Nobuo Iwabuchi, the organizer of the Hirosaki Arts Dance Executive Committee. "There has been a request from the members for wanting to visit Hirosaki as a city with a lot of dance, and this time it was realized quickly."

In addition to dance performances, talk shows will be held on the day. Dance lessons for citizens will be held on the 27th. YASS and Toyotaka-san, TAISUKE-san and KATSUYA-san will be the teachers at this two-part workshop on hip hop and break dance.

Mr. Iwabuchi says, "It's so popular that we already have a request for flying. I want people who are not interested in dancing to see a world-class dance performance." On the net, there were surprises and voices calling for participation, such as "This is amazing," "It's dangerous to come to Hirosaki," "I can't go to see, but if you can go, please go see it."
