From January 21st, the photo exhibition "TSUGARU PHOTO MEETING 2nd Memory Exhibition" by local amateur photographers will be held at the Hyakuseki-cho Exhibition Hall (Hyakuseki-cho, Hirosaki City).

"TSUGARU PHOTO MEETING" is a group of about 700 amateur photographers who are active throughout Japan, mainly in Aomori Prefecture. Activities are carried out on the dedicated page of Facebook, and the main purpose is to post photos and interact through photos and cameras.

About 100 members will exhibit more than 200 photographic works at the exhibition. Mr. Shinji Narita, the representative of the group, says, "You can see the works of the members whose names are in the contest in the prefecture." The theme of the work is arbitrary, and works such as "smartphone category" shot with a smartphone are lined up, showing confidence that "every work is a quality that can not be considered amateur".

“We started this society because we wanted amateur photographers to share their photos,” says Narita. "The goodness of the work is the love for the subject," he said. "Some of the participating members are people who have to wait hours or days to shoot their favorite scenery. There is also a smile.

"It's about twice the size of the photo exhibition that opened last year. There are almost no photo exhibitions of the same scale in the prefecture. I want more people to see the photo exhibition than twice," he calls for the exhibition.

Holding time is from 10:00 to 20:00. The last day is until 18:00. free entrance.
