The band "Kuuki Kodan", in which Yukari Yamazaki from Aomori serves as the vocalist, will hold their first Hirosaki concert on August 27th at the live house "KEEP THE BEAT" (Dotemachi, Hirosaki City).

The band was formed in 1997 with Yamazaki at the center, and made its major debut in 2001. He has released 20 albums including mini albums so far, and is based in Tokyo.

According to Mr. Yamazaki, he has held workshops and other events in Aomori, but this will be his first live performance not only in Hirosaki but also in Aomori. “My impression of Hirosaki is that it has a different culture from Aomori, and is an emotional city,” says Mr. Yamazaki.

A one-man live with a keyboard, bass, and drum band entitled "Hello, Kuki Kodan. I've come to Hirosaki." Singer Jonagold, who lives in Hirosaki, will appear as a guest. With Jonagold, he co-starred with Yamazaki-san, who was in charge of producing, writing, and composing the song "Matsuri no Ato no Ano Kaze wa" released in 2022.

At the live, Jonagold says that there is also time to cover Kuki Kodan's songs. Yamazaki says, "Music can be listened to in many ways, so I want people to enjoy it in various ways. I'd be happy if Jonagold, who can approach music with different interpretations during live performances, will also feel it."
