Tsugaru Railway (Goshogawara City, TEL 0173-34-2148 ) and confectionery manufacturer Meiji (Tokyo) have collaborated to launch the Kinotake Furin Train on August 16th.

This project is a collaboration between the Tsugaru Railway's seasonal train "Furin Train" decorated with wind chimes, and Meiji's chocolate sweets "Kinoko no Yama" and "Take no Ko no Sato". In addition to decorating six wind chimes imitating "Kinoko no Yama" and "Take no Ko no Sato" inside the train, special refrigerators are installed at Tsugaru Goshogawara Station and Tsugaru Nakazato Station, and small bag-type "Kinoko no Yama" and "Take no Ko no Sato" are installed. Sato" will be chilled and distributed free of charge.

This is the second project since last year. Meiji's Shiori Sugiyama said, "Last year's event was well received and we were able to provide a positive topic mainly on the Internet. This year, we have increased the number of collaboration goods."

At Tsugaru-Goshogawara Station and Tsugaru-Nakazato Station, in addition to distributing original stickers and confectionery-shaped fans of "Kinoko no Yama" and "Takenoko no Sato", photo panels will be set up. The number of distributions is 5555 for “Kinoko no Yama” and “Takenoko no Sato”, and 1000 original stickers and 1000 fans each. According to station staff, the number of uchiwa fans from Kinoko no Yama is decreasing.

Vehicles are wrapped with illustrations. This year, it is applied not only to the front but also to the sides. Mr. Sugiyama says with a smile, "'Kinoko no Yama' and 'Takenoko no Sato' are products that are based on the image of satoyama. I hope they will bring liveliness to local lines."

There are 8 trains per day. Until the 31st of this month.
