The completion preview of the movie "Baka Nuri no Musume" set in Hirosaki was held on August 5th at Aeon Cinema Hirosaki (Takasaki, Hirosaki City).

The film was shot entirely in Hirosaki with the theme of Tsugaru lacquerware. It depicts the bond between a daughter who aspires to become a Tsugaru lacquerware craftsman and a father who is a craftsman. Starring Mayu Hotta and Kaoru Kobayashi.
