Jujutsu Kaisen is a manga by Akutami Gege, a manga artist from Iwate, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha). It will be animated in October 2020, and theatrical animation will be released the following year. As a collaboration with the Tohoku Festival, the “ Aomori Nebuta Festival” features the main character, Yuji Itadori, and Satoru Gojo, who appears in the play, as nebuta.

Shigeki Tezuka of Hiroo Takenami Nebuta Research Institute produced the Nebuta. In 2015, he produced “Sith Nebuta” for the movie “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and “Kinnikuman Nebuta” in 2021. Tezuka-san said confidently, "I think the quality of the finished product will make the fans happy."

In line with the collaboration, original goods will be sold at the Aomori Prefecture Tourist Product Center Aspam (Agata, Aomori City) 1st floor "Aomori Prefecture Local Select", and the signature product "British Toast" of Aomori's bakery company "Kudo Bread" (Furukawa). ”, and for a limited time until the end of August, we will sell “British Toast (Aomori Apple Jam & Milk Whip)” with illustrations of Jujutsu Kaisen.
