On July 24, the Aomori Prefecture Apple Countermeasures Council released the "Aomori Apple Variety Memorization Book" on the "Aomori Apple" website.

The "Aomori Apple Variety Memorization Book", which lists the varieties of apples grown in Aomori Prefecture, can be downloaded for free, and you can make a check card by printing and making your own. Momoko Satomura of the Aomori Prefecture Apple Countermeasures Council said, "I got the idea from a memorization book of English words."

The selected apples are 88 varieties with a large amount of market distribution and historically valuable varieties. Mr. Satomura says with a smile, "There are also apples that I recommend." A ring and a hole punch are used for making your own.

It is one of the efforts to have people learn about apple varieties in a fun way. Mr. Satomura says, ``You can arrange them in alphabetical order, by harvest season, or by color.

The association is known for distributing sheets of apple varieties printed on them to children in Aomori Prefecture. Mr. Satomura said, "I received inquiries asking if I could get a sheet, and I started to think that I would like to widely provide opportunities for people to learn about apple varieties. I would like to increase the content that can be downloaded from this website in the future."
