Tando, which has been cultivating its own hair beans since 2017, has also sold them at a gas station it operates in Sendai. According to the company's spokesperson, focusing on the fact that there are few processed products made from hair beans, the company will start developing soft serve ice cream using hair beans from 2021.

During development, he was particular about preserving the texture of the grains of hair beans grown without pesticides, and adjusted the size so that the spout would not be boring. The thin skins of the hair beans are peeled off one by one by hand and sent to a processing company. The kitchen car is in charge of the in-car car care business and the vehicle sales department. "Because it was the first kitchen car that sold soft serve ice cream in Aomori Prefecture, the examination by the public health center took a long time," said the person in charge.

The price is 400 yen per piece. Sales will be held at "Enejet Hirosaki Joto CS" (Kobinai) every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday until the end of October. On other days of the week, it will go around other gas stations and sell it. Business dates and times will be announced on the official SNS of “Tanto”.
