Jazz singer akiko's live event "akiko and kimori by Primavista" will be held on July 22nd at Hirosaki Cider Studio "kimori" (Shimizu Tomita Terazawa, Hirosaki City).

The same event held at the apple field in front of Kimori in Hirosaki Apple Park. Aishi Fukuda, representative of the citizen group Primavista.org, who organizes the event, said, "It's like a dream come true just because Akiko, whom I admire, will perform in Hirosaki."

Akiko made her major debut in 2001 (Heisei 13) as the first Japanese female singer on the American jazz label "Verve", and has won awards such as the "Jazz Disc Award" and the "Billboard Japan Music Award". In addition to music, she is also active in fashion, writing, and jazz workshops for children.

At the venue on the day of the event, "YOAKEnoAKARI" will set up candle art and sell cider, wine and cheese. “It's a location unique to Aomori, and the live performance is during the time when the evening sky is gradually dyed. Listening to jazz music in the candle-lit park will definitely be a fun time,” said Mr. Fukuda.

For akiko, it will be her first time performing in Hirosaki, and it will also be her first time performing in an apple orchard. Akiko said with a smile, "I'm really looking forward to performing live at my favorite apple and my favorite cider factory. The candle production is sure to be a wonderful space, and I'd love to enjoy it with everyone."

Doors open at 18:00, performance starts at 18:30. The entrance fee is 3,500 yen for the general public, and 5,500 yen for a shared taxi round-trip ticket. Tickets will be sold through the event management service "Peatix".
